I love this tip, it's useful for whenever I'm started painting.
Do u damp your brush for ground??
Hey Will, Thanks again for yet another hands-on, practical video. Two qualities you should be admired for: Your impressive body of work, and your resolve/ability to actually get people painting. Some artists may have one of those qualities, but you have both. God bless your giving spirit. 👍
what will happen if the painting does not have a color ground?
Hello, what kind of acrylic base is this?
Hello from Malaysia! I love your videos, you demonstrate the techniques very succintly. Great taste in relaxing music also. 🙂
@willkempartschool
great videos. what canvas brand do you use?
LOOOOOVE THE SONG
So it's easier to establish a tonal range on your canvas and create a mood to your painting.
Cheers,
Will

Thank you so much for sharing so unselfishly here and on your website.
Its José González cover of The Knife's Heartbeats
Love the video.
Also, what's the name of the song?
Yes, it's pretty close. It might look brighter on the video,
Will
Yes you can use any colour you like for a coloured ground, I prefer using earth colours.
Thanks,
Will
did you also use Gesso?
Hi TheHiimrube, yes i do add some water to the paint so it goes on quite thinly. You're trying to cover the canvas with an opaque colour, using as thin a layer as possible. It can take a couple of goes to get the consistency right.
Thanks,
Will
Thanks Ms NocturnalDesigns,
Glad the videos are being helpful,
Will
