  1. Can i have the name of the gloss isolation and medium that you use I'm a complete beginner can explain to me what they do i have listened to video but it would help me if it was in a message that I could take into the art supply shop because I don't understand completely what I'm for. Please thank you

  2. Beautiful tutorial and painting! Thank you for demonstrating this technique! What is the process once you are done? How long does this small amount of oil application take before it's dried? Do you spray the painting again with the clear gloss spray once it's dried?

  3. Chuck, your work is masterful of course! QUESTION: I'm trying to come up with a style for a fast oil portrait done over a fast, non detailed acrylic underpainting. But I want some of the graphite outline drawing left so I can see accurate details. If I spray with the crystal clear spray you mentioned, will that seal graphite enough so that it won't ever show or come through the oil layers?

  4. Wow, this is a real perfection ist. I am one too but thot no one could match me, lol. Absolutely a great artist. Beautiful painting. I hope one day to be as good. I'm a beginner but already wanting to be as good as this wonder artist. And, I think he is young. How can he get any better?? Ross would have learned a bit from this one. Is this painting for sale??God Bless

  5. This painting looked perfect to me till you added a touch of oil perfection to it! I learned so much. Did an acrylic painting and had some errors on it while trying to blend. I was frustrated and wanted to wash it off… But then your video gave me hope to fix it. My painting is looking like nothing happened πŸ˜€πŸ˜. I really appreciate thanks.

  6. Andrew, Thank you for this. I just got some oil paints and supplies to work over acrylics, too, and this is so helpful. I love that acrylics don’t smell, are easy to clean, and dry fast. But even with slow drying acrylic types and mediums, I can’t get what I want with skies and skin and flower petals, etc. Just ordered the Krylon as you suggested. Really love your work and appreciate your advice. Cheers.

  7. What do you use to seal your oil paint? Do you use a spray like Kamar Varnish matte or a liquid varnish specifically for oil paint? Since only some areas of the painting are oil, with the majority being acrylic, I'm confused on which sealant or varnish to use
