  8. Great transformation, Christina! Had to laugh when you filled all the worm holes and had bondo everywhere! I had a piece (my husband’s 100yo+ wooden tool box which was his great grandfather’s) I completely transformed, but there was so much damage (big and small) I had to use a LOT of wood filler. I wish I could add a pic of what it looked like after that step lol. But painted it smooth and did all kinds of fun techniques with it.
    Can’t wait to try these drawer pulls! I know exactly which piece I’m going to use them on too. I’ve struggled with trying to find the right size in anything other than plain and/or boring. Thx so much!💜

I'd like to see what that looks like and which technique, brush, roller or spray gun will give you the most streak free finish. PLEASE!!!

  17. The "new age" acrylic paints wear like iron and with them being latex no more harsh chemical fumes. I don't know if I appreciate the finish but that could just be the lighting. I think there are glazes available if someone likes a more glossy finish. But the color is spot on.
    I thought you would be turning the piece on it's sides to work on the horizontal plane and remove the door too.

Hi Christina..I'm new to all this redoing furniture.. been watching videos for about 3 months…iv been a drywall finisher for 28 yrs..and I want to try something new..n my husband said go for it..I actually primed my first project a few days ago..I used drywall primer..lol.. didn't stick ..the piece is either laminate or veneer 🤔..but anyways my question is are the Dixie Bell brushes better than the Zebra..what's the difference between them..besides the price…I see alot of videos where it's all about Dixie Bell brushes and paint being the best..can you please give me some advice

I am thinking about painting my buffet and I also have a huge expensive mirror that I hate to just get rid of so thinking of painting it and making it a glam piece to match my new decor. I have heard so much about chalk paint recently. What is the deal with it being used so much? Also wax, whats the deal with that and how does it differ from paint. I am also wanting to add some gold distressing to a new inexpensive mirrored and wood accent chest. I just want a little gold since I have some gold mirrored end table so I want to tie it in. Any advice?
