Wait… Don't go… We didn't even get to the marshmallows yet…
Thanks, Ryan! What a cracklin' good fire:-) I started this in 2021…and just finished this year, 2024. I worked quite sporadically on it, probably about 10 times total. The lesson keeps well; easy to put down for a time (a year!?!!) and then pick right back up where I left off. Good teaching, sir.
Spent many hours on your crackling fire. I only have inexpensive materials and I think I may have to invest in some artist quality paints. Do you use gesso before you start?
You are fire! 🔥 I cannot wait to try this! I can almost hear the crackle!!
Crackling as I finish with this painting. Thank You for the Lesson
Super awesome…
Would be nice if you shortly showed the picture pencil drawn without/ before painting it

THANK YOU!!!
This is the first tutorial of crackling fire I have seen here.
So greatful and truly impressed.
It will surely take me years to learn painting this but I will try my best to learn something at least.
Thanks a lot 😊
Isn't it more easy to paint all over the canvas and then paint the flames,?
Im going to attempt to do this as a resin painting. One layer of resin, dry, paint part of scene, dry, another layer of resin, etc. If it works it should give it a beautiful 3d effect. Thank you for this tutorial!
My first time watching you! A crackling experience ❤ thanks for sharing.
It's always been wonderful experience to experience your masterpieces.🎉
This was so awesome. So useful and I cant wait to get started on my own take on it.I thank you so much!! Crackling.
