I love your tutorials and have successfully followed a few to create pretty fair paintings… I am nearly 60 years old and never held a paintbrush in my life other than decorating!
I have a question… if you want to varnish your acrylic painting what's the best method.
I found gloss varnish soooo tricky to get looking great without any marks or brush strokes.
I pour it into a little cup then try to work really quickly as it seems to be very sticky to use
I mean it feels like it is drying almost as soon as you put it on. If you dare go over the same area more than once, you end up with brush strokes or tiny air bubbles. I'm using a wide very soft brush. Any advice gratefully accepted. Thanks
Ps this is to varnish some more abstract bits I've tried.
amazing video! check out my art on instagram @jorge_locolinn
May I ask what happens if u mix fabric paint with acrylic paint? I'm worried that if u wash the fabric the color may fade or crack
I love your painting
Plastic throw away dinner plates are excellent palettes. They are cheap and you should be able to find them at your local supermarket. Great video
Fuck the Queen!

I like you
I painted you. You are so beautiful
love your eyes
Katie, great tips you can teach an old dog new tricks!
A tip for a palette… sometimes I use a plastic container that is made to store Deviled eggs, is has small wells and is a couple inches deep. I add water to the bottom and seal it up. I found mine at a Dollar Store.
Keep up the great work!
Hiya, do you have any tips for how somebody who only has 6% functional vision could really βpaint what I see?β Please please donβt think Iβm having a go at you or using this as a sarcastic barb. Iβm not a troll or a bitch and I think you explain things really well, Iβm just in a unique situation. To be honest, Iβve stuck with a lot of backgrounds that are cool with different washes or patterns and then some line painting sort of things. Iβm obsessed with integrating quotes into every single piece of artwork I can. I think Iβll probably stay in the more abstract or impressionist side of things but Iβd really to be able to paint a flower that people can identify. People can only tell what my sunflowers and my gerberas and daisies look like. Other flowers are, tbh, barely recognisable as flowers. Itβs the sight thing, though. If I painted what I saw, it would be a colourful series of blobs!!
I hope youβll see this and maybe be able to give me assistance.
Thank you for your time in doing these blogs and especially thank you if youβve read this and decide to reply!!!
oh my gosh…LUNA FINALLY HAS A YOUTUBE CHANNEL!!!!!!!!!!!!
We struggle with paints drying out here in Texas! Great tips! I'm going to share these with my students. Let me know what you think of my videos. One stop shop for projects, tips, and tricks!
I use an old microwave plate for a pallet π€£ the top is smooth
Freezer paper makes great palette paper. Use the shiny, plasticized side.
Can i use the glass from the picture frames?
i never understand British……-_-

Thanks for the great tips. Wish I had hear of many of them earlier.
I live in Sweden and my paint freezes instead of drying
My problem is my acrilics are in my garage and a spider just had babies in there π³π£ I HATE spiders
I was once too lazy to clean my brushes and ended up letting them sit for about half a week so I eventually had to throw almost all of them… they were completely destroyed
Never going to do that again
Here's a tip for cleaning up: Windex practically melts acrylic paint.
Tank you Katie for sharing all these tips . God bless you and your family .
For me, while watching her paints, she looks so like just go with the flow on where her brushes will take her. And everything turns so good. So yeah, ur my favourite
