How do I get extra confidence in my shade selections? How do I discover shade harmonies?
One can discover many treatises about shade theories within the literature. However usually this doesn’t assist me within the choice and coordination of colours in my image. I believe it is smart to easily intersperse an informal train as regards to colours once in a while…. a playful method, by which one makes many experiences. In my view, it is smart to decide on 3 or at most 4 colours plus white and black, with a view to check out as many various mixtures as doable. With the white (mixing white, zinc white) I can lighten the colour as much as pastel-like colours. With the black I boring a shade and make it darker. (However I additionally get fascinating greens with the black when mixed with yellow!)
Principally, the secret right here is: Simply attempt , mix, experiment…. solely by way of frequent portray and mixing grows the sense for fascinating shade combos.
This train will also be performed properly with kids (maybe with a less complicated background)!
My colours: Zinc white (or titanium white), black, vivid yellow, cherry pink, neon magenta, neon orange.

Danke, liebe Gerda!

Dear Gerda, thank you for this video.
At 2:00 I thought it would make a beautiful abstract flower garden. 🙂
Pablo Picasso said: 'Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.'
We need to allow the child in us into our art which is what you have done so successfully in this video.
Very much appreciated. 🙂👍
