  1. This was so helpful. I love quick sniper videos on how to fix problems. If you haven’t done a video on varnishing an acrylic painting, can I add it to your suggestion box. I will search after I type to see if you already have one. Thanks a bunch.

  2. Hey I love watching your videos. But can you please do some video on fabric painting? Like a whole series on it. I searched and searched, but the other videos wasn't so helpful. I am sure if you decide to make video on this topic, it will be a blessing for us who are dying to know the technique and DO's and Don't. I fear my comment might go unnoticed. But please I am struggling a lot. Specialy with tissue(muslin) fabric. πŸ₯Ί

  3. I was happy with mine but I decided I lost too much dark. So I added black and let it dry. Then came back the next day and made it worse. I should have left it alone or started over and painted the whole panel board black like I started with. I got to move on spent too much time on this painting. I was trying to make a background with red clouds over black negative space. The first painting I got abstract clouds that looked like fingers pulling the center apart. Now it looks like tongues all over the place. At least I got some photos before I ruined it which is all I needed anyways. I can change some things in photoshop. My background is for a cd/vinyl ep I am designing. I have a more difficult painting to move on to realism of the bands mascot. I will make my values on my pallete before I even paint my subject. I have some graphite sketches I did as reference. I have more practice with graphite for obvious reasons, affordablity. Not that I haven't painted before I am use to using different paint than liquidtex basics. Liquedtex basics is new to me, and I am still getting use to using it. I like how it lays vibrant and shiny. My other paints I used till now are more opaque and lay flat.

  4. If you painted a picture yesterday or whenever. And you noticed it today, you can use vodka with a Q'tip and just take out your mistake And always even if it was put on like u just did, a Q'tip and vodka just as well. and it will not take dried paint of your painting unless you rub real hard.

  5. Works a lot better with a terrycloth towel or old scrap of clothing that you're using as a rag now. Most paper towels while are absorbent, the additional patterned textures on them make it hard to lift water. I actually use tissues quite a lot for very fine areas.

  6. hey lachri? I have a question. i have been using paint thinner (it's awesome by the way) to blend colored pencils and the brushes are white and they have been stained with the color, but their is no color coming off the brush, does that make sense? like I wash blending blue with the brush and the blue got on the brush but when I while off the brush no color is coming off it? should I clean it? because I mean it's not ruining my drawings but I'm just wondering

  7. awesome tip love!!!! I do this all the time.. 8. Hi I want t begin a painting of buildings of an English fishing village looking from the sea towards the buildings on land, I usually outline the buildings with a dark acrylic paint then fill in the various colour's of the buildings BUT the Hard edge I create before filling in always leaves a ridge, Is there a way to paint the building outlines before filling in the colour's so the Hard edge looks like it is ment to look i.e a thin shadow between the houses.
