Portray foreground particulars akin to leaves and foliage will be time consuming. Nevertheless with just a little additional work to shade within the areas first, previous to the element, it may be achieved loads simpler.
On this video I present you methods to paint this nation highway by way of the autumn forest. I element methods to paint the leaves on the bottom, the highlights and shadows, in addition to the gravel on the highway.

Amazing painting. You are a fantastic teacher . You are calm and explain things very well. I am soooo appreciative of this video and your others. It helps me become a better painter since I am just beginning. I would like to know why you would go over this masterpiece with oil paint? I think it’s perfect already.
That truly makes me feel like I'm there. Thank you!
This scene reminds me of a beautiful place I take my dog for walks in the fall. All you need is a frisky little Westie frolicking in the leaves and I’m there.

I'd love to walk along that road and admire the trees and the light shining through them.
You have no idea how I enjoyed watching you paint. It helped me combat depression a great deal! I might pick up my brushes and paint along now! THANK YOU!!!
Very good video!!!
You're talent is INSANE. I love watching you paint. You're my inspiration.
Your paintings are seriously beautiful. Your lighting is incredible, I have a long way to go yet, lol. Really enjoy your work, friend.
C'est magnifique !
Your painting skills are just simply perfect .
It's too long , but gorgeous
Can you tech me idol 😘
Wow
Looks so real! Love the precision, passion, and talent. Definitely inspiring.
Amazing as usual…makes me homesick for my home in SW Virginia. Blue Ridge Mountains. The road looks like the road to my sisters farm. There is often the fallen, colorful leaves on the dirt road. There is little traffic on this "back road", so the leaves would not all have been blown to the roadsides, from vehicles. Gorgeous!
Thankyou just stunning
FANTASTIC. Feel like trying. thanks for the lesson
hi Chuck,i never get bored of watching you paint.Your eye for detail and shading is awesome.Watched this one over and over again, and i now feel confident to start to paint this myself. x
how much water you add to your paint?
Hello Chuck, I am so in love with this painting, I am a newborn painter, I am following along with this painting. I like my top part with the trees, the bottom part I am totally stuck….mine looks flat, I can't seem to paint a hill. I've been painting over it again and again but I can't seem to get it right.
Hello Chuck, l subscribed as soon as l found this video by accident…
I love this result, wow…l wanna have a go with practising, thanks for sharing… you're great 😺🙋🙋
I have a puzzle app on my phone. I am taking a painting class at the local community college. My puzzle I picked to paint is so close to being identical that it is unreal. My biggest problem is I hate my road. I have 38 years of different medium's of painting and I can't get the stinking road right. I found you and I love the way you do yours. Thank you for sharing and in turn helping me!!
Thanks a lot! Talented artist, good teacher!
I love this! I had trouble with the way the highlighted areas look in mine. I wish I could post a picture and ask for advice.
*Darth Sidiuos*: Almost as good as me, you have become.

Glad to find the "other half" of this painting as I was a bit scared I wouldn't. May not be a reason for that, but, I'm glad, anyway … watched the two videos of this "back-to-back" because it's such a beautiful painting!!! Thank you again for sharing it and your techniques with us all. Still LOVE this painting. 😁 I have another "techniques" question for you … How do I paint realistic looking sand on beach scenes? I appreciate your help.

Hi Chuck. Do you make your own stretched canvases? If so can you show us how you do it?
Thanks for uploading,i followed ur steps and did the painting
I dont understand how you can dislike this picture!
I'm working through this tutorial right now! Thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of us! I have always loved painting, but just now starting to get back into it! My favorite part is that you keep the amount of different colors used down, yet you are still able to create a beautiful and vibrant scene!
The bill of your cap often gets in the way and covers what you are doing
Chuck. You put the ART. In art. Amazing video. Thankyou 👍🏽
I jumped right back into painting after seeing this video. It took me 7 or more hours to complete, however thanks to your guidance I currently have, what i feel, is my best piece of art yet. It helped me go out and get the right paints from a local store where now i may join in the local art club and over all it's really improved a lot of things rather quickly in my life to find a drive for art again. I haven't watched any of your other how to or what to use videos yet, I was too excited to start painting. I'd love to be able to send you a picture of the painting for some advice. I know my shadows / light didn't quite line up and how you made everything look so… organic and whimsical is still beyond me. Maybe I missed something. Would you like to see and if so, how may I go about it?
Thank you so very much for your hard work and dedication, i'll be trying more of your how to's soon.
