Right this moment I am strolling you thru the right way to paint a quite simple surreal panorama. This might be an amazing portray for newcomers, or somebody extra superior who desires a fast undertaking to color.
I’ve used liquitex fundamentals with a little bit of liquitex heavy bodied clear mixing white on the balloons. I additionally used some white createx airbrush paint on the background, however you should use the clear mixing white for that if you do not have an airbrush. I painted this on a Fredrix Nature Core Linen paint board.

Thanks so much! This was the most advanced painting I've done. Really enjoyed painting this and really improved my skills. LOL @ baked potatoes.
hi Lisa, I'd really like to paint this as accurately as I can, but to do that I really need to know the size of the canvas you used!
Subcribe my channel, I'll subcribe your channel👌
Hi! Thank you for this tutorial. I kinda tried this painting for my project. I can't make it look the same as you did. But anyway thank you!
Wow
it is interesting to see you doing balloons, i love balloons and have done stuff before, but i use hot air balloons.
For those who thought you needed drugs to create these landscapes.
nice lesson thank you so much!
great advice
Which colors did you use exactly for this painting (which green, yellow, red and brown color did you use). Can you tell me the names of the acrylics?
dude this is a super cool painting, great job!
Hello I love your videos. If I use transfer paper on my canvas will it now be considered a mixed medium work?
I love how different this is from your other work. I also saw that you reply to others and engage with them. Truly humble you are!
Whats the title of it?
You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your art <3
I love the way you soften your clouds… that is that make up brush that you spoke of in another video …right? Btw, I have been watching you for sometime, you are incredibly talented!
So whimsical — I love your painting. For viewers who don't have a lot of mop brushes, soak a piece of paper towel with hand sanitizer and use it to wipe the mop when changing colors. It may not work with heavy body because it is so much thicker, but it works really well if you don't get the mop brush real wet. Hand sanitizer also works to clean paint out of the ferule so your brushes don't split. It's the alcohol that dissolves the paint.
for the oil painting look, try REEVES acrylic paint, it has a slower drying time
Hey thanks for uploading this bit of magic. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing. Much Love Miccoli
So cool.! I might give it a try, wasnt sure if could cause shows copyrighted,
When I get done with these holiday paintings I'm gonna do my favorite one that is a surreal tiny canvas in a large canvas. Nice when someone gives you the green light to paint whatever for them lol. I'm in the straight string camp HAH. Very nice anyway!
Will the mixed media board work the same Lisa?
i love this type of art! Just dont know where 2 begin
Have you tried the Liquitex Slow-Dri Blending Medium?
I haven't tried it yet myself, just wondering if the product is worth a try?
Amazing, amazing. You make it look so easy.
I came across your channel by chance and firstly watched your video about how you started out and your health. I too suffer from arthritis in my spine and hips as well as stomach issues and fibromyalgia so I can relate. I was a marketing manage up til five years ago but last year I got into crafting, initially card making and pocket letters. I've branched out since then into mixed media and art journaling. I have a background in art, I started out as a graphic designer before getting into marketing, but stopped doing anything art related many years ago, I really admire how you're self taught and your attention to details and composition are brilliant. I've never experimented with surrealism but watching this has made me want to give it a go. Your new subbie 🙂 x
what is your airbrush recommendation for beginners like me? this is awesome would love to try it.
Sorry Balloons ruined it!
Cliff idea sooo good!
🙂
nice …
I absolutely love and appreciate how you describe what you are demonstrating. I'm looking forward to trying these techniques and colors for an effect i'm wanting to get on a project… Thank you for all that you share.
Thanks so much for this Lisa! I think I'm definitely gonna pull the trigger on acrylics and oils this fall/winter and I'm inspired a lot by this simple process. Correct me if I'm wrong, but i seems like the brush technique for acrylics and oils isn't radically different, it's just the drying time and the layering differently, so I can definitely practice both simultaneously (on different pieces of course).
Best,
Joe
Do u sell prints of this picture , couldn't see it on ur website and I love it ☺️
