  1. I may not be a good painter, but my teacher gave our class an assignment where you have to paint a classical theme, I went with the famous starry night. At first it looked really hard when i looked it up on google but when I found your video and watched it, Painting the starry night seemed really fun and since I have a lot of free time, I have already started painting, right now I'm at 2:48, although I have made a few mistakes since i am not a good painter after all but, I now see why everyone enjoys painting and it isn't boring at all!

Thanks for the tutorial, I will likely edit this comment again once I finish my painting and explain my final thoughts.

  2. i'm doing for a project in high school, except we were supposed to change something about it, so I kept the original idea of starry night, and re created it completely from scratch, i made it over top of an ocean instead of a village, removed the giant "tree" and added an island with a lighthouse, then I added I guy in a row boat with his black cat, I also added a lot more red to the sky (it ended up looking a bit like the painting "scream") and that was just the under painting, now I have to go back and add the famous brush strokes and dots that Vincent van Gogh used, came here to get a little extra guidance because the references we have in the are room suck (it's not even a printed out picture of the real painting, it's just a drawing that somewhat looks like it) turns out, I forgot the swirly part and just added big circles, thankfully, what i've done so far is just the underpainting.

Thanks for making this, it will help so much.
