  1. If you use acrylic, it doesn't matter if you use zinc, but if you paint in oils, stay as far as you can from zinc white. Studies have shown that the film it creates when it dries is brittle and it will flake of. You can use lead white (variations also called flake white, cremnitz white), or titanium white.

  2. Very interesting!  I'm new at this and finally, I have a very good point of reference on this particular pigment.  I will be trying this out soon.  BTW, the painting you are working on in this video has the most amazing colors – good job, Tim.  Can I ask, where its home will be? 

  3. One secret no one will tell is the guidelines on how to determine cloud placement to get that rolling sky. You know , we learned one point perspective to make correct trees barns and stuff , but how do you apply that to clouds? No videos ANYWHERE on YouTube about that. Bummer. Will you do one? !!
