  1. And thank you for reaching out those of us who have suffered our battled with mental illnesses and coming from someone who has battled with bad depression and ptsd and has finally this year 2022 finally found a treatment that like a miracle worked for me and as a result of this new found victory I've found myself painting…alot… and I love watching tutorials… it really really does do almost everything good for any one of my paintings is to be able to find just the right tutorials and you really make it seem like we are just sitting in the same room and it just helps too that you are passionate about speaking out and taking steps in order to help others and I believe in you so thank you again and good luck to you and your journey and hopefully I'll see alot more of your videos!!!

  2. Thank you so much but I still have some questions lol. Are you wetting your brush? If you are how are you keeping it from splaying? All mine split so bad after I wet them there's no undoing it until the brush dries back out? Help 🥺

  3. I’m a 100% disabled Vietnam vet. My disability is emotional but triggers hyper vigilance and terrible nightmares every day. I’m learning to paint from your videos, Bobs, and Steves too, but I look at a blank canvass for weeks before I feel good enough to paint. I don’t know where your studio is. I live in Texas.

  4. thank you so much for actually explaining what you do and how you do it. I'm a visual learner but I still need detailed instructions. blame it on my ADHD but I need a break down of everything and you did that so perfectly! instant subscribe from me thank you so much for this. if only all YouTube tutorials were taught by you!!!

  5. Thank you so much for this video on pine trees. I have been very frustrated about how to do this and it makes me upset and want to just give up. I feel, because of how you explained everything that I can do this! You have a gift and I thank you!

  6. You are a fantastic teacher. Few stop and show us how to hold the brushes and why you’re using a fan brush. New beginners like me need this detail info. I’m 68 and starting a new hobby! So great you want to help veterans also.

  7. I am a beginner painter and this video is so educational and you seem so real and funny in a good way. I hope you were able to do something for the vets. CSU has a program that helps vets enrolled in classes there. There might be some that would be interested.
