I made the pouring medium 2parts pva glue to 1part water by weight, after which combined 3part pouring medium to 2part paint by weight. I added further water to some to skinny them down so the consistency of all paints was the identical.

I saw the finished piece to begin with, then watched the video and awaited the bit where you'd be covering the hearts with doming resin! Does that answer your question as to whether it looks 3D?
